Now

Thursday, August 7, 2014

I think people waste so much of their lives waiting for right moments. If it isn't today, maybe it will be tomorrow. One of these days I will be ready. One of these days things will happen. I am sorry, but I don't believe a word of it. I believe that if you want to do something you just have to go out and do it. There is no such thing as the "right" moment. The "right" moment is now, and if you don't take that leap of faith then you will always be stuck where you were yesterday.

The same thing goes for if you are a part of something, or have something toxic in your life. You all know what I mean by that. I don't think I need to explain it. There is never going to be a "right" time to end it. If things are bad they will only get worse. A bad thing rarely turns into a good one. Stop pretending that things will get better, and be BRAVE. Be the one to let go. Know when something is no longer a good thing, and remove it from your life. It just isn't worth it, and if we all spend so much of our time waiting for the "right" moment anyway.. by the time you think it might be the time the moment will have already passed. Then the cycle starts all over again.

So lets just own our own lives, and do things in the now. There is no such thing as the perfect time. YOU make it the perfect time.

SO TRUE! We all deal with this in some way at some point. But it's especially difficult to watch someone go through this, namely bad relationships. The trouble is, unless you've already been through it, it's really hard to actually SEE that you're in situation like that. You know? It's maddening.

You're wise. And PS, I don't think this makes you sound depressed or whatever it is other people may have said. I always feel like the people who comment on my posts think I need advice or somehow got the impression that I'm extremely troubled. Obviously, a little encouragement is always nice. But there is nothing wrong with some honest expression. Not everything can be happy and cupcakes and lace. Anyway, I feel you, woman.
