Eggleston

Here are a few of the photos from my latest photography assignment. We had to pick a photographer from a list, and re-create three of his photos. I chose William Eggleston. I loved his use of color in photos, and how he believed in capturing the beauty in the mundane things of the world. I felt that I related to him in this way, so naturally I chose him. The first image will be my own followed by the image it was inspired by.

To be perfectly honest, these were not my favorite photos I have ever taken. The girls that I had help me were absolutely STUNNING! The sun was just not my friend this day. Oh well, you can't love them all! Here are a few others that I edited just for fun.

    your models really are gorgeous! and i'm loving your photos and eggleston's! i've never heard of him before but i'm definitely going to check him out :)

    William Eggleston is one of my FAVORITE photographers! My friend actually met him here in LA! I adore adore him! anyways, holy cow these pictures are gorgeous! i love the girls' hair! love love your photos, girl!
